Vice President, Managed Services
Jay has been a part of the Cognera team since January 2009, and has been in the deregulated Power and Gas business in Canada for over 10 years. In his current role, Jay oversees the Managed Services team of Team Leads and Retail Billing Analysts who interface each day with our clients and provide the front line services core to Cognera’s business.
Prior to joining Cognera, Jay was employed at Enron Direct working to launch the Alberta and Ontario retail gas and electricity businesses. He also has worked with Enmax Energy Corp in a consulting role helping establish and grow the back end of their deregulated business. More recently, he worked at Direct Energy and FB Energy, focussing on Risk Management on the Trading side.
Jay holds an MBA in International Business from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chausseés (ENPC) in Paris, France, and completed his graduate work at INSEAD in nearby Fontainebleau.
